Beverly Hills Orchestra, a.k.a.
BHO were founded a hot summerday in 1986 in Elsinore. The band
was created by local musicians that has been working with many
west coast music projects in Scandinavia. Today Beverly Hills
Orchestra features: Henrik Launbjerg (Toys Of Joy), Hans H.
Egestorp (Toys Of Joy), Lars Elswing (Blast), Mikkel Soby (MIB)
& Stig Skovlind (Busborg).
The band is playin´ many live gigs
and from time to time the invite sessions players to join the
band and over the year musicians like: Sos Fenger, Bobo Moreno
(Peaches & Bobo), Morten Remar (Back To Back), Daniel, Soren Sko
(Sko/Torp), Alberte, Mark Linn, Peter Busborg (Busborg), Soren
Launbjerg (D.C. Army Band, Emma, Jan Tellefsen, Michael Jorvang
(Kudasai) has been on the stage with BHO.
Beside the live gigs and the
individual session works and solo projects the members of
Beverly Hills Orchestra has also released two solo albums. The
first album called "Absolute Rovballe" is a live album recorded
at one of their famous christmas concerts at the venue place
Toldkammeret at their hometown Elsinore.
In 2003 they went to Cuba to
record the second album "BHO Goes Havanna" and also a DVD with
documentary etc. from the trip.
