Fools Gold
The backing band .....
Starting out as Dan Fogelberg's backing band, Fool's Gold decided to strike out on their own with this eponymous disc. Full of high harmony and easy country-rock tunes, Fool's Gold will warm the hearts of anyone who is a fan of such bands as the Eagles or Poco. Highlights include "Rain, Oh Rain," "Rollin' Fields and Meadows," and a cover of Fogelberg's own "Old Tennessee." Helped out by such friends as Glyn Johns, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh along the way, Fool's Gold has just the right blend of country and rock to entice listeners to enjoy this fine album.
