Hello there. Anybody know where I can buy sealed vinyl of westcoast music (I have much success on ebay and main music marketplaces for vintage titles but wonder a lot about newer westcoast which dosen't seem to be availible). Is it just not pressed? I do not have a cd player but wish to support music in my life (I pour much money to sellers of old stock westcoast ss). I must say westcoast music has a very big cd following. I suppose because there is a lot of rare cd versions but it must be vinyl for me as I cannot afford to start cd. I wonder is there an outlet that specialises in the order of the newer titles (if availible) on lp? Anyone who has ss vintage lp's of anything good westcoast, Please contact me if price is reasonable (I know some titles are worth more than others). I am still looking for lots and would appreciate any lists of ss or even mint- vinyl/cover. And just in case anyones interested, over the last 2 years I have collected 50% of blue deserts vintage a-z's through ebay and musicstack (generally paying on average 5-10usd for all these), new still sealed old vinyl. Sweet. I just love it as it sounds like tapes as they were all tapes back then. So, they are theyre!!. Thank you very much blue desert for the joy you have brought me and my musical life- and to all great artists. I must tell you, out of the vintage pages, you say, 'who don't mind taking a chance' - but only 1-2 out of 50 or more lp's have been not great to my taste. Vintage Westcoast is great music and far better to me than the mainstream. A few yrs ago I thought the music I liked just did'nt exist bar the odd alt name, now, it is just never ending. I guess that is just growing up!!!. As a musician and 80's maniac- this stuff has got me. Cheers all. Love Mark.

I saw where you had my old band "THE BOYS BAND" in your archives. Do you sell old LPs?? I would love any and all knowledge of copies of that very out of print self-titled LP in different languages (as far as the writing on artwork). My Moms husband found one in Japan on Ebay and is getting it for me. Would Bob Dylan's Empire burlesque not be a bit of an aor album if only he was'nt Bob Dylan? Just a thought, as I kind of consider it to be among my newly aquired small collection of aor lps. I have been really impressed with Airplay and of course, Frankie Bleu, but as for carol bayer sager's sometimes late at night and peter allen's bi-coastal....both are on ebay right now- listed only a few weeks after i got them as i just can't get into them. I doubt, as I live in Ireland, they will sell as there is'nt much uk aor lovin on ebay as far as I can tell. And most of Ireland probably don't know ebay exists yet, let alone the beauty of vinyl lp's over stoopid poxy cd's (excuse that if you are a fan of cd). If anybody wants either just check out ebay- though the fact i'd have to post it to u.s. probably makes the whole bringing up of the fact, quite pointless. What a ass I am. Hello, very much enjoy the site. I only found it tonight and have been wondering what this music is all about after getting frankie bleu's vinyl lp from a great ebay seller 'urabanchou' in Japan. I am only a teenager and love his music (although generally disliking what seems like a lot of un-authentic re-inactment of west coast I have been hearing all my life???) I came accross it as I am interested in any frankie bleu? and want to know his material on vinyl apart from the album (I read it is his only release) would anyone know if he had any 12' singles with b-sides etc (UNICORN RECORDS?) What I want most is the soundtrack to the 1982 film 'the vals' in which he does the title track 'girls in the valley'. I would love this soundtrack (supposedly on unicorn but seemingly non existant) or just that song/ any frankie bleu/ info on his stuff. I have been on the internet for almost a year now trying to find info on him/it/ his whereabouts/ even contacted, daphna edwards, to no avail on these unicorn artists of early 80's but have little luck. I would very much appreciate info from anybody who knew about this music, I would be very grateful for your time informing me. Thankyou again for your recommendations/ great site/ great links to other sites- I have got myself a copy of 'airplay lp' just in the last few hours (listed on the blue desert page that I stumbled upon somehow) Thanks very much Paul Paul

Hello all Koinonia fans!! I just came over this norwegian cd from a guy called Arne Rønnestad. Its an instumental cd whith mainly ballads whith keyboards as main instrument. Sounds like some of the ballads from Koinonia whith a little norwegian twist.Realy great chords and very relaxing.A great cd for all David Foster/Tom Grant, and New Age fans too! Arne is a keyboard player, guitarist and composer. For years he had his own studio "NOVA", where this new CD is recorded. He has a great sense for melody, harmony and over all for the different moods music can reflect.

To Kenneth, Niels, Thomas and EVERYBODY who made Saturdays concert so great *THANKS* It's been a long time since I was in Copenhagen & the night was pure magic for me. Music is all about people (I hear it's good for plants, too) and the audience at The Pumpehuset were awesome! Hi Guys, I just wanna save something to You out there that wasn´t at the Karizma Concert at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, saturday july 10th: Where were You?! The venue place wasn´t crowded! You surely missed something! At the same time it´s You´re own fault that You´re now gonna hear reviews from it over and over again from everyone of Your friends that were there in the audience at Pumpehuset this magic night! I think this concert was awesome, and to be real honest - It surely was the best concert I´ve ever seen in my life of all categories and of all time! Believe me! Could it be in any other way with this line up as follows? Alex Ligertwood - You´re great voice really touched me! What a singer and performer You are! You´re wide range of Your way of singing is unbelievable! (I really look forward for Your forthcomming solo CD that You were talkning about!) David Garfield - What a musician and composer You are! You make everything that You play "sounds and looks so easy"! Sören Reiff Jr. - At last I´ve seen You playing live! Now I understand why You as a guitar player are hanging out with these "big guys"! And the way You´re playing - so raw and slick and smooth at the same time! You Danish guys out there shall be proud for this guy! (And I really look forward hearing those 4 tracks that You recorded in the studio together with this line up of Karizma for Your forthcoming CD when they were here!) Will Lee - I wonder if I´ve seen such a hard working "white" bass player who was joking and improvising a lot at the same time! I´m really impressed! (How about recording a brand new solo-Cd?!) Steve Ferrone - What a groover on the drums! It really swings like h-ll! I´m speachless! And thanks to Kenneth Bremer at Blue Desert and Niels Estrup at Owit Music for a great concert! Make sure these guys of Karizma will come back! Soon! And for You guys out there that missed this concert: Shame on You, but I´m one of those lucky guys who was there! TOTO plays LIVE at KULTURBOLAGET in Malmoe, Sweden June 24th! Yes, it´s 100% true!
This great intimate club only takes 750 persons! So we´re talking about a real club gig!
Kulturbolaget opens this evening at 8 PM
with slick Westcoast-music from the DJ-stand. TOTO goes on stage at 9 PM.
