Peter Beckett

The leadsinger from Player ....

Peter Beckett was born in Liverpool U.K and moved to Los Angeles in Mid 70's. In 1977, Peter was one of the founders of the the group Player, that is well-known for the Billboard Chart No.1 Hit Single titled "Baby Come Back", back in 1978.

In 1982 the band Player did split up and Peter Beckett continued his songwriting, studioworks and also recorded some movie soundtracks, such as: "Jenny" from the movie "Where The Boys" in 1984, "How Can The Girl Refuse" from the movie "Major League" in 1989 and "Until You Let Go" from the movie soundtrack "Franky And Johnny".

Together with Steve Kipner he has released 2 albums with their duo "Think Out Loud". Peter Beckett has together with Ronn Moss continued the work with the band Player, and is still releasing albums with this.
